Cambodia handled about 2.4 million air passenger movements in the first four months of 2026, down around 4% from the same period in 2025, AKP reported on May 15, citing a report from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA).
Aircraft movements reached 23,204, an increase of about 2% year on year, while air cargo volume rose 36% to 30,448 tonnes. The figures show growth in aircraft movements and cargo alongside a decline in passenger traffic.

In the same report, AKP cited SSCA Secretary of State and Spokesperson Sinn Chanserey Vutha as saying that aviation continued to play an important role in tourism, trade, investment and socio-cultural connectivity.
