The report identifies Malaysia as Cambodia's seventh-largest trading partner, after China, the United States, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and Singapore.

Citing the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE), it states that bilateral trade in the first four months of 2026, from January to April, exceeded US$500 million, up 51.5% from US$353 million in the same period of 2025.
