Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce is preparing the 19th Cambodia Trade Expo, scheduled to run from December 17 to December 20 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh. Companies, buyers and investors from Cambodia and other countries and regions are expected to attend.
The ministry recently held a preparatory meeting attended by several officials and heads of relevant departments. Described in the report as one of Cambodia’s largest trade fairs, the annual expo showcases local products and industrial achievements, offers opportunities for businesses to find partners and expand markets, and allows consumers to learn more about Cambodian goods.
The ministry said this year’s exhibition would focus on products and services including agriculture, textiles, handicrafts and technology services, with the aim of raising Cambodian products’ international profile and attracting more overseas orders and investment.
The ministry also thanked the volunteer teams who took part in the previous expo and acknowledged their contribution to its smooth organisation.
