Preah Sihanouk: To build respect for law and improve young people’s road-safety knowledge, provincial road-traffic police specialists worked with public works and transport representatives to teach the Safe Village–Commune policy and road-traffic law at Sihanoukville’s general and technical high school.
The activity took place on June 8, 2026 following instructions from General ស ថេត, National Police Commissioner, and regular guidance from Deputy National Police Commissioner and provincial police chief Lieutenant General ស រដ្ឋា.
The programme involved 247 students, including 155 girls, focusing on knowledge and responsibility for safe road use.
The team explained the seven features of the Safe Village–Commune policy, safe driving measures, the benefits of helmets and strict observance of traffic law.
Students were reminded to avoid wrong-way driving, dangerous overtaking, ignoring signs and traffic lights, speeding and drug involvement, which pose public-safety risks.
The educational activity aimed to help young people become law-abiding model citizens and contribute to reducing crashes and building safe, orderly communities. By: សុខ ស៊ីណាន
