Preah Sihanouk: A ceremony announcing the transfer of duties and assumption of office by the provincial deputy governor was held at the មង្គលសេដ្ឋាច័ន្ទ center on the morning of June 17, 2026, chaired by Interior Ministry Secretary of State ប៊ុន ហុន and Governor Mang Sineth.
Under a Royal Government sub-decree, សួស សិរីសួស្តី transferred from deputy governor of Kratie to deputy governor of Preah Sihanouk.
Mang Sineth congratulated the new deputy governor and urged responsible performance of duties, stronger public services, efficiency, transparency and further provincial development.
He also thanked and praised ហែម ដារិទ្ធ, who transferred to a new post as deputy director-general of the Interior Ministry’s General Department of Internal Audit.
ប៊ុន ហុន praised the provincial administration’s achievements and instructed departments, units and relevant authorities to continue supporting the new deputy governor to maintain security and social order and promote development. He stressed protecting natural resources, including coastal areas, islands and mangroves, which are important to the province’s economic and tourism potential.
សួស សិរីសួស្តី pledged to devote full effort and professional experience to helping lead and develop the province, uphold professional ethics and put national interests first.
