A late-model car struck the metal central barrier of the expressway at ព្រៃនប់លិច in Preah Sihanouk province on 27 June 2026.
With rain continuing and the road slippery, authorities and road users urged drivers to reduce speed, maintain safe distances and take extra care to prevent and reduce the risk of crashes.
