The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology reported a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, the South China Sea, the Mekong basin, Cambodian waters and Cambodia.
It forecast the following conditions for 1–3 July 2026:
1. Plains
Average minimum temperature: 25°C; average maximum: 36°C.
Southwesterly and southeasterly winds averaging 3 metres per second. Rain with gusts and thunderstorms could cover 60% of the area.
2. Highlands
Average minimum temperature: 24°C; average maximum: 35°C.
Southwesterly and southeasterly winds averaging 3 metres per second.
Rain, gusts and thunderstorms could cover 40% of the area.
3. Coastal areas
Average minimum temperature: 25°C; average maximum: 35°C.
Southwesterly and southeasterly winds averaging 2 metres per second.
Rain with gusts and thunderstorms could cover 50% of the area.
