Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration met interministerial officials on July 6, 2026 to examine, assess and seek solutions to delays in public services at the provincial one-stop service unit. Governor Mang Sineth led the provincial side. The interministerial side was led by សួស ប្រាថ្នា, Director General of the General Department of Administration at the Ministry of Interior; អូន ប៊ុនហាក់, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance; and គិត ច័ន្ទគ្រឹស្នា, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. Other officials also attended.
សួស ប្រាថ្នា asked departments and units to present the actual causes of public-service bottlenecks so that delays in administrative services at the one-stop unit and related procedures could be addressed.
Mang Sineth said the provincial one-stop service unit was not yet able to serve residents promptly, particularly for cadastral services. He attributed the delays to complicated document-submission procedures beginning at the unit: residents submitted entire sets of documents, which were then formally forwarded to city and district authorities, who in turn had to work with communes and sangkats, prolonging the process.
Interministerial officials offered input on possible solutions to the difficulties facing the provincial one-stop unit. City and district governors and relevant departments, particularly the Provincial Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre, also raised challenges encountered in their work and asked the meeting to help identify solutions.
