Commerce Minister Cham Nimul presided over the opening of the Durian and Seasonal Fruits Festival 2026 on the morning of July 10, 2026, at AEON Mall Phnom Penh. Leaders from relevant ministries, representatives of AEON Cambodia and other distinguished guests attended.
The minister commended AEON Cambodia for working with the Commerce Ministry to organise the event to promote Cambodian products, expand markets and increase business opportunities for farmers, producer communities and local enterprises.
She said the exhibition showcased not only the quality and flavour of Cambodian fruit, but also the progress of Cambodian products from farms to domestic and international markets through close cooperation between the government, private sector and farmers.
The Commerce Ministry is also promoting national products through the #MadeInCambodia and #MadeByHer campaigns, domestic and overseas trade fairs, consumer protection, studies to establish wholesale markets, registration of the collective mark “ទុរេនបែកអន្លូង,” and development of geographical indication and national certification marks to improve Cambodian products’ competitiveness.
The Durian and Seasonal Fruits Festival 2026 runs from July 10 to 26, 2026, at all three AEON Mall branches in Phnom Penh. It displays and sells various local durian and other fruit to promote consumption of Cambodian products and support Cambodian farmers.
