Preah Sihanouk province: At 11:30 a.m. on July 11, 2026, Brigadier General ហេង ប៊ុនទី, commander of the Preah Sihanouk provincial gendarmerie, and colleagues welcomed and held working discussions with an engineering team from the National Gendarmerie headquarters, led by Colonel ខេង សួរ, head of the engineering office.
The team inspected progress on the new three-storey staff building at the Preah Sihanouk provincial gendarmerie command to assess construction quality and work progress and ensure that construction followed the specified technical standards and plans.
The new staff building is important infrastructure for the unit. Once completed and put into use, it is expected to improve the working environment and the effectiveness of management, command and coordination. It will also make it easier for the provincial gendarmerie to fulfil its duties efficiently and respond better to security and public order needs. By: Pai Sokhim
