On the morning of July 16, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, who was visiting China, held bilateral talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Focusing on building an all-weather China–Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era, the two sides held in-depth working exchanges on practical bilateral cooperation, the regional situation and other issues of mutual concern.
Both sides agreed that China and Cambodia are steadfast friends who support each other. They said they would continue strengthening political trust, advance implementation of the “Diamond Hexagon” cooperation framework, expand cooperation in trade, agriculture, infrastructure and people-to-people exchanges, and make further progress on the “Industrial Development Corridor” and “Fish and Rice Corridor”. They agreed to strengthen multilateral coordination, work together to safeguard regional peace, stability and development interests, and ensure that mutually beneficial cooperation continues to benefit the people of both countries.
