Preah Sihanouk province: On the afternoon of July 16, 2026, គីម សុភ័ក្ត្រ ម៉ាង ស៊ីណេត, honorary president of the Preah Sihanouk provincial branch of the Cambodian Women for Peace and Development Association, led members of the provincial women’s association to visit and deliver donations to the family of អ៊ុយ សុវណ្ណារ៉ា. The family, which lives in severe poverty, resides along the edge of a freshwater creek in Ream subdistrict, Sihanoukville municipality.
The donations included food and other consumables, essential household supplies and some financial assistance, contributed by the provincial women’s association and benefactors to help ease the family’s daily living difficulties.
During the visit, គីម សុភ័ក្ត្រ ម៉ាង ស៊ីណេត conveyed greetings from the leadership and encouraged the family to persevere, look after their health and continue working to improve their living conditions. She said the Cambodian Women for Peace and Development Association in Preah Sihanouk always paid attention to residents’ well-being, especially families facing hardship, so that no resident facing shortages would be left without attention.
In response, អ៊ុយ សុវណ្ណារ៉ា and his family expressed their emotion and thanked her and the team for visiting them in person and bringing donations to help ease the difficulties they were currently experiencing in daily life.
