A delegation from the board of directors of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, led by លូ គឹមឈន់, the Cambodian government delegate serving as the port’s chairman and chief executive officer, together with the port’s management, made a working visit to the Port of Long Beach in the United States on July 20, 2026.
During the visit, the delegation held talks with Dr. Noel Hacegaba, executive director of the Port of Long Beach, and signed a “Letter of Intent on Establishing a Partnership between the Port of Long Beach and Sihanoukville Autonomous Port”.
The signing of the letter of intent is an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two ports to promote exchanges of experience, capacity development and knowledge sharing, and to make transport and logistics more efficient and internationally competitive.
