Chi Kraeng district gendarmes took firm action against a group of eight youths and seized three motorcycles after they performed wheelies, disturbing road users and public order, according to the report.
The operation took place on the afternoon of July 21, 2026, after gendarmes received residents’ requests for intervention over disruptive youth activity. The group was detained at ទួលព្នៅ in កំពង់ក្ដី១ village, កំពង់ក្ដី commune, Chi Kraeng district, Siem Reap province.
As an administrative measure, the three motorcycles were seized and temporarily held at the Chi Kraeng district gendarmerie base. The eight youths were taken for education, with measures under applicable procedures to follow if related offences were found.
Chi Kraeng district gendarmes called on all young people to stop disruptive behaviour, saying it not only frightens residents and undermines public order but also harms their future, education and family reputation, and could expose them to legal penalties.
