Some areas of Phnom Penh, as well as Takhmao city, Arey Ksat city and Mukh Kampul district in Kandal province, may experience power interruptions from July 30 to August 2, 2026, according to a notice from Electricité du Cambodge (EDC).
The possible interruptions are due to EDC’s repairs, equipment replacement and installation, and relocation of electricity lines to facilitate road-widening work. Although efforts are being made to avoid disruption to the main electricity supply, some interruptions in the affected areas may be unavoidable.
