Senior Minister Kun Kim, First Vice President of the National Committee for Disaster Management, met Lt Col Ramli Abd Hadis, President of the Veterans’ Association of the Brunei Armed Forces, at the Sun & Moon Hotel on October 3, 2026. The Brunei association president was leading a delegation to the 38th Executive Council Meeting and the 25th VECONAC General Assembly in Phnom Penh.
Kun Kim welcomed the Brunei association president and delegation, who had taken the time to attend the VECONAC General Assembly hosted by the Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association.
The Cambodian Veterans and Retirees Association is serving as rotating chair and hosting the VECONAC General Assembly for the second time. Under the wise and skillful leadership of former Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the association’s president, it has achieved progress widely recognized at regional and global levels.
Both sides pledged to further strengthen bilateral cooperation to achieve fruitful outcomes for the benefit of ASEAN veterans. By: ស្រីពី
