Preah Sihanouk Province: His Excellency Mang Sineth, Governor of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration, on the morning of October 15, 2026, presided over a get-together, welfare check and delivery of the precious gifts of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Dr. Pich Chanmony, to 149 street and beach sanitation workers and to the grass-cutting and park-care teams of the Department of Public Works and Transport and the tree-care teams of the Department of Agriculture, on the occasion following the Pchum Ben festival.
On that occasion, the Provincial Governor conveyed the regards, welfare wishes and thoughts of the Head of the Royal Government of Cambodia to all the workers and staff who have actively dedicated their physical and mental efforts to carrying out their duties. His Excellency emphasized that Preah Sihanouk Province is a multi-purpose model economic destination province, and therefore the sincere contributions of all the workers in cleaning the streets and beaches and in maintaining parks and trees are essential work that keeps the city, coastal areas, tourist resorts and various infrastructure attractive, the environment clean, and draws more domestic and international tourists to visit.
At the same time, the Provincial Governor expressed deep thanks and encouraged the workers to continue their further efforts in order to enhance the beauty and prestige of Preah Sihanouk Province to be ever more splendid.
The gifts provided on that occasion, for each individual staff member, consisted of 1 sack of rice (25 kilograms), purified water, orange drink, fish sauce, soy sauce and 200,000 riel in cash, for a total budget of 29,800,000 riel. Article by: Pai Sokhim
