Truth Social, the social media network of US President Donald Trump, is facing a sharp decline ahead of the upcoming US midterm elections in November. Notably, this drop comes even as Trump has been posting more on the platform than ever before.

According to data from digital data research firm Similarweb, the traffic decline has reached as much as 30%, with the platform averaging only about 260,000 daily users.

Trump has as many as 13 million followers, making him by far the most-followed account on Truth Social. He is also known for flooding the platform with a high volume of posts in short bursts. For example, earlier this Wednesday at the start of the week, Trump posted roughly 25 messages within just a few hours.
Based on available data, Trump posted 861 messages in May, averaging roughly 27 posts per day, surpassing his previous monthly record of just 782 posts.

This decline has left Truth Social well behind its competitors, Facebook, which has more than 2 billion daily users worldwide, and X, which has more than 130 million daily users worldwide.

It is also worth noting that Truth Social was created by Trump in 2022, after Twitter permanently suspended his account in January 2021 in connection with the attack on the US Capitol. Since its launch, Trump has built up more than 13 million followers and continued to post every day up to the present. Article by: TOUCH SOVANRITHY
