Preah Sihanouk Province: Forces from the Anti-Drug Office of the Royal Gendarmerie Command of Preah Sihanouk Province have built a case and sent four suspects (two Cambodians and two Indonesians) to the Provincial Court on the afternoon of October 18, 2026, for legal proceedings in connection with cases of illegal drug trafficking and use.
The operation was carried out under the direct order of Brigadier General ហេង ប៊ុនទី, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Province, with procedural coordination from His Excellency លាវ ស្រេង, Provincial Prosecutor at the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Court. Specialized forces carried out the crackdown at 4:10 p.m. on October 16, 2026, at a rented room in Village 3, Sangkat No. 2, Sihanoukville city.
The four suspects are: 1. OSVALDO, male, 31 years old, Indonesian national; 2. AGUSTINUS, male, 38 years old, Indonesian national; 3. សន បញ្ញា, male, 36 years old, Cambodian national; 4. ឆើត វី, female, 30 years old, Cambodian national.
Evidence seized includes:
23 packets of white crystalline powder (total weight 178.25 grams); 28 assorted-colored pills (weight 8.98 grams); 10 assorted packets of processed drugs (total weight approximately 36.73 grams); 17 electronic cigarettes.
Tools and packaging materials include: 2 drug scales, 2 plastic-sealing machines, a quantity of packaging bags, 6 smoking pipes, 2 smoking bottles, 2 oxygen tanks, 1 chopping board and 3 knives, as well as other items including 7 mobile phones and 1 passport. By: Pai Sokhim
