Preah Sihanouk province: On the morning of October 25, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and head of the Royal Government working group for Preah Sihanouk province, met and congratulated 26 students who earned Grade A in the upper-secondary school leaving examination held on August 10–11, 2026.
At the event, Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth commended education leaders and officials, school management teams, teachers and public and private educational institutions for their efforts to develop human resources with knowledge, competence, skills, ethics and professional responsibility, particularly their teaching and guidance that helped students achieve results to be proud of.
The Governor congratulated all students who passed the upper-secondary school leaving examination at every grade, especially those who earned Grade A. He said their success resulted from their own hard work, together with the substantial sacrifices and support of parents, guardians and all concerned.
Say Samal thanked parents and guardians for supporting their children’s education and completion of their studies, and praised the provincial administration, the Royal Government working group, civil servants and all forces for their attention to education. He stressed that schools develop the knowledge and spirit of future generations, while building human resources is a key factor in advancing national development.

He said Preah Sihanouk has economic potential in many areas, particularly industry, factories, enterprises and water, land and air transport networks. Cambodia must therefore continue strengthening its human resources to seize future employment and development opportunities, while promoting agricultural products with market potential, such as cashew nuts, cocoa, coffee, rubber and fragrant rice.

He also encouraged students to focus on acquiring real knowledge and skills, rather than merely good grades. In particular, they should learn about new technologies, including artificial intelligence, and use the internet productively to prepare for competition in the future job market.

A total of 95 motorcycles were sponsored at the event: 26 for Grade A students and 69 for community protection personnel in the province’s cities, districts, communes and urban communes. Of the motorcycles for community protection personnel, 11 went to the six cities and districts in total, and 58 went to the 29 communes and urban communes, with two for each.
