Summary

HCO donated two tonnes of rice, 100 cases of drinking water, medicines and supplies through Kampong Chhnang’s health department for troops and displaced residents.

The Community Hope Organisation (HCO) brought humanitarian donations to ease the burden on displaced Cambodians staying in safe areas and troops holding frontline positions to defend national territory. HCO representative Kim Hyoung Min described the assistance at Kampong Chhnang’s health department; the source characterises the military action the troops were defending against as Thai aggression.

The provincial administration’s health department received two tonnes of rice, 100 cases of drinking water, medicines and other supplies from HCO for distribution to displaced residents in safe areas and troops continuing to hold their positions to defend national sovereignty against what the source describes as Thai military aggression.

On the afternoon of December 18, 2025, HCO representative Kim Hyoung Min handed the donations to Kong Chantha, representing Kampong Chhnang’s health department.

Kong Chantha, deputy director of the provincial health department, thanked HCO. He said the donations demonstrated generosity and active participation in charity and social work, through the department, to help frontline troops and displaced people in border areas who had urgent needs.
