On the night of December 23, 2025, Cambodians and foreign visitors staying in Siem Reap province gathered to light candles, expressing sorrow and concern over the tragedy of war caused by Thai military aggression against Cambodia’s sovereignty.
The candlelight gathering also called for full peace for the Cambodian people and sent a message to the international community that Cambodians want the war to end and peace to return as soon as possible.
