On January 8, 2026, the Chinese government provided a second round of humanitarian assistance for Cambodian people displaced along the border, valued at RMB20 million, reported as equivalent to US$2.8 million. The first round of humanitarian aid had successfully arrived in Cambodia on December 28, 2025.
