Oddar Meanchey Governor Mean Chanyada said that, after several months of construction work, the Eight Arms Roundabout in the provincial capital was now 100% complete, despite the province having experienced war.
The governor added that work on the Eight Arms Roundabout in the provincial capital was intended to improve the town’s appearance and preserve the rich cultural identity of Oddar Meanchey.
Mean Chanyada had decided to renovate and enhance the statue at the “Eight Arms Roundabout”, a symbol of the province, to make it more prominent and impressive, welcome tourists and serve as a source of pride for local residents. The work was 100% complete. The roundabout has become an important “landmark” that travellers visiting Oddar Meanchey cannot miss.
