An investor conference on the Sihanoukville Logistics Centre (SHV-LC) presented the project’s potential and investment opportunities and promoted strategic cooperation.
Deputy Governor Long Dimanche represented the provincial administration at the conference at Novotel in Preah Sihanouk on March 23, 2026. It was chaired by Heng Norn, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and Meas Sok Sensan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
About 100 participants representing relevant institutions and domestic and international companies discussed investment opportunities and government support policies.
The government initiative envisages an initial development area of 49 hectares under a public-private partnership (PPP).
The centre is intended to provide value-added logistics services, reduce logistics costs, improve freight flows and ease port congestion. Written by Pai Sokhim.
