Russian Culture Days in Cambodia 2026 were held in Phnom Penh as part of celebrations of the seventieth anniversary of Cambodia–Russia diplomatic relations. Art objects, traditional clothing and performances under the theme “Successors of Siberia” offered opportunities to share knowledge and introduce Cambodian audiences to Siberian cultural traditions.
The event took place on the evening of March 28, 2026, at Chaktomuk Conference Hall, presided over by Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Phoeurng Sackona and Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Cambodia.
The report presents the event as both a remembrance of the past and a celebration of strong friendship and shared commitment to deeper cultural cooperation in the future. It describes culture as the soul of a nation, its core identity and an inexhaustible resource that has played an important role in strengthening the bilateral partnership.
