According to Preah Sihanouk Provincial Tourism Department Director តាំង សុចិត្តគ្រឹស្នា, the province recorded 141,107 tourist visits on April 15, 2026, the second day of Khmer New Year. The report listed an increase of 2.98 percent.
The director’s report recorded 137,740 domestic tourist visits, an increase of 3.41 percent, and 3,367 foreign tourist visits, a decrease of 12.13 percent.
Beaches and other attractions recorded 139,719 visits, an increase of 2.63 percent. These comprised 137,060 domestic visits, up 3.24 percent, and 2,659 foreign visits, down 21.30 percent. Three flights arrived through the international airport, one more than the previous year, bringing a reported 270 tourist arrivals, an increase of 141.07 percent. These included two domestic visitors, down 60 percent, and 268 international visitors, up 150.46 percent.
The islands recorded 1,118 tourist visits, an increase of 44.63 percent. These included 678 domestic visits, up 58.78 percent, and 440 foreign visits, up 27.16 percent.
