At the Ministry of Commerce on the morning of June 3, 2026, Commerce Minister Cham Nimul chaired a progress review on the preparation of procedures for establishing and managing Cambodian private trade centres abroad.
The meeting was attended by ministry leaders and relevant specialists, including secretaries of state, undersecretaries of state, the director-general responsible for trade policy and promotion, and other technical officials.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the draft legal and regulatory instruments in depth to ensure they would be comprehensive, sound and effective to implement when Cambodian private trade centres abroad are established and begin operating in the future.
These centres are expected to help promote Cambodian products, expand export markets and make trade cooperation between Cambodia and international partners more effective. By: Pai Sokhim
