Preah Sihanouk: Prey Nob District Governor អ៊ី ធារិន visited Cambodian workers who had returned from Thailand and were now employed at a brick factory in the district on June 11, 2026.
The workers expressed happiness and satisfaction with the job opportunities available locally. They said they could currently earn between US$350 and US$650 per month, helping them better support their families.
The returning workers said employment close to home provided not only stable income but also the opportunity to live with their families, reduce separation and avoid risks associated with migrating abroad for work.
The workers' return and access to local employment reflected growth in the regional economy and job opportunities, contributing to better living conditions.
The development of local factories and businesses was also playing an important role in creating jobs, raising incomes and strengthening livelihoods, enabling people to live and develop their lives sustainably with their families in their hometowns. By: Pai Sokhim
