Poipet Royal Gendarmerie officers found and seized 23 motorcycles linked to theft after tracing the GPS on a victim’s motorcycle stolen in early June 2026 in ផ្សារកណ្តាល village.
Poipet gendarmerie said that after receiving the victim’s complaint, officers investigated until a GPS signal led them on June 10, 2026, to a house in ផ្សារកណ្ដាល village, Poipet. With legal procedures coordinated by កើត វណ្ណារ៉េត, prosecutor attached to the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court, officers searched the house and found the victim’s motorcycle along with others, totalling 23.
After checking, officers returned the YAMAHA NMAX to its original owner, while the other 22 motorcycles were retained at Poipet gendarmerie. They called on people who had lost motorcycles to come and check whether theirs was among them and to provide proper documents to reclaim it.
