The Cambodian People’s Party working group assisting Ream sangkat met and gave aid to 40 households facing daily livelihood difficulties at the sangkat party office in Kampong Saom city, Preah Sihanouk province, on the morning of 28 June 2026.
Attendees included នួន ប៊ុនថុល, a member of the provincial party committee and chairman of the Kampong Saom city party committee; ងួន ឧត្តម, head of the working group assisting Ream; and other working-group members.
នួន ប៊ុនថុល and ងួន ឧត្តម told residents that CPP leaders always cared about public welfare and livelihoods, especially by encouraging local working groups to monitor living conditions, security, order and development in all sectors.
The visit to the 40 households was organised in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the CPP’s founding.
The Kampong Saom city party chairman urged residents to work on agricultural production, look after their health and protect the environment by planting trees and disposing of waste properly.
Residents were also asked to cooperate with authorities by reporting local offences such as theft, snatching, gambling, drug trafficking and use, and violence, to help keep villages and sangkats safe and orderly. They were particularly urged to report suspected locations linked to technology-based fraud.
Each of the 40 households received one sack of rice, one case of noodles, one sarong, other food and consumer supplies, and 90,000 riel.
The working group also donated one tonne of rice to the Ream sangkat party office for further assistance to residents in difficulty.
