The Commerce Ministry said its coordinated #MadeInCambodia campaign had attracted active participation from more than 600 supermarkets, marts and minimarts across the country in support of Cambodian products.
The campaign aimed to encourage use and retail display of local products and broaden market opportunities. With the message “Love for national products shows love for Cambodian farmers and producers and love for our homeland,” the report described it as a joint public and private-sector movement to support the national economy.
The programme was scheduled for one week each month throughout a full year, to publicise national products and encourage more Cambodian goods to be stocked by supermarkets, marts and minimarts nationwide.
