Brigadier General និត ណារ៉ុង, deputy chief of staff and head of the secretariat team of the Cambodia–Thailand Regional Border Committee (RBC) for the Army’s Military Region 4, has appealed to the public and social media users not to publish or share information about conditions along the border based on personal hearsay or sources that have not been officially confirmed.
The appeal was made on social media on 5 July 2026 to curb the spread of false information that could cause misunderstandings and adversely affect security, stability and relations along the border.
Brigadier General និត ណារ៉ុង also thanked members of the public and social media users for cooperating, following developments and sharing information responsibly by relying on official information sources.
