ISI SEZ, a project of ហ្គោលដិន ផត អេសអ៊ីហ្សិត ឌីវេឡុបម៉ិន ឯ.ក, is accelerating construction ahead of a planned official opening in September or October 2026. It expects to attract more companies and factories and potentially create at least 3,000 jobs for local people.
During a July 5, 2026 afternoon visit by Preah Sihanouk governor Mang Sineth and a delegation to inspect construction progress, ISI SEZ marketing director ច័ន្ទ សុផល said the project would be developed in three phases across a total of 800 hectares. It is located in ត្រពាំងគារ and ត្រពាំងមូល villages, ជើងគោ commune, Prey Nob district, Preah Sihanouk province. According to the presentation, this is the company’s third major investment project, following two industrial parks in Phnom Penh and Kandal Stueng district, Kandal province.
ច័ន្ទ សុផល said construction was currently concentrated on the 200-hectare first phase. Infrastructure work includes a clean-water production plant, a wastewater treatment facility, internet connections, an electricity substation, internal roads and a connecting road to Samdech Tep Vong Road, and accommodation for staff and workers planned for completion the following month. Accelerating the internal and connecting roads, he said, would make it easier for customers to transport goods to and from the port and expressway.
According to ច័ន្ទ សុផល, the first phase could be completed and officially put into operation within the next two or three months. It is expected to support products from companies and factories in the zone and attract further investment, potentially creating what the source describes as at least 2,000 to 3,000 jobs.
The project, which remains under construction, has already received two major companies: ROADBOSS TIRE (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a tyre manufacturer, and the zinc-oxide chemical production facility of អ័រលន់ ហ្ស៊ីន អ៊ីនដាសស្ត្រី (ខេមបូឌា) ឯ.ក.
The report describes ISI SEZ as the sixth special economic zone established in Preah Sihanouk province, after the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port Special Economic Zone, ចេជាង Special Economic Zone, ហ្គ្រេនបូកគោ Special Economic Zone and ខេមបូឌាន ស៊ីណូមេធលលីន មេធៀរៀល Special Economic Zone.
