Preah Sihanouk province: នួន ប៊ុនថុល, governor of Kampong Som city, inspected progress on a 775-metre concrete road in កោះខ្យង village, អូរជ្រៅ sangkat, Kampong Som city, Preah Sihanouk province, to ensure the project met technical standards and residents’ actual needs.
The new concrete road is expected to become important community infrastructure, facilitating travel and the transport of agricultural and fishery products, reducing transport time, stimulating economic activity and improving local livelihoods.
During the visit, the governor called on all residents to help maintain the road and use it responsibly so that the infrastructure could remain usable for a long time and continue benefiting the community.
នួន ប៊ុនថុល also visited residents and traders in កោះខ្យង village, advising them to care for their health during the rainy season, particularly by preventing dengue through elimination of Aedes mosquito habitats.
He also urged residents to maintain hygiene and environmental cleanliness and dispose of rubbish properly, making their neighbourhood attractive, clean and green and improving quality of life in line with sustainable local development.
