Through its Department of Water, Forest and Infrastructure Management, the APSARA National Authority continued distributing a further 14,208 saplings free of charge to the public in provinces near and far from July 7 to 20, 2026.
The different saplings provided included ឈើទាល, គ្រញូង, បេង, ធ្នង់, គគីរ, ផ្តៀក, កកោះ, អង្កាញ់ and flowering forest plants. This forms part of efforts to increase forest cover in Cambodia. Members of the public who wish to plant saplings on their own vacant land or at institutions can contact the APSARA National Authority to request them; they are provided free of charge.
