Summary

A 144-meter concrete bridge in Phnum Kravanh was reported 95 percent complete on July 30, 2026, with completion planned before Pchum Ben.

Pursat governor ខូយ រីដា and Lieutenant General គង់ អៀង, an undersecretary of state at the Ministry of National Defence, inspected construction progress on a new concrete bridge across the Pursat River in Phnum Kravanh district on July 30, 2026. The bridge is 144 meters long and 10 meters wide.

The bridge is a donation from Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife through the Ministry of Rural Development and is being built by the Defence Ministry’s engineering corps. Construction was approximately 95 percent complete and was scheduled to finish before the coming Pchum Ben festival.

Once completed, the bridge will be fitted with solar-powered LED lighting to improve safety and its appearance at night.
