In line with its core mission of promoting sustainable community development, the Kampong Dewa Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Kampong Dewa Resort, handed over four wells and four public toilets to residents of Ong (អុង) village in Preah Sihanouk province on the morning of August 2, 2026.
The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of Kampong Dewa Resort and the local authorities, together with numerous community members. The local authorities also presented the company with a letter of appreciation.
The company’s team also shared hygiene knowledge and demonstrated how to maintain the facilities to ensure their long-term use. The project was put into service to directly address shortages of water for daily use among nearby residents and improve public sanitation locally, demonstrating the company’s practical attention to the community and its social responsibility.
The commissioning of these infrastructure facilities shows that residents’ living conditions will indeed improve.
