Vireak Buntham Group donated 20 tonnes of rice and other food supplies to the Preah Sihanouk provincial administration for onward distribution to poor and vulnerable residents in its municipalities and districts. The handover ceremony took place on August 2, 2026, in the presence of Provincial Governor Mang Sineth and Neak Oknha សួរ វីរៈ, the group’s Director-General.
After the handover, the supplies were sent to four municipalities and districts: Sihanoukville, Kampong Som, Koh Rong and Stung Hav. The donation comprised 20 tonnes of rice, 100 cases of canned fish, 10 cases of soup powder and 10 cases of coffee. The charitable activity reflected participation in social responsibility and care for local residents.
Neak Oknha សួរ វីរៈ, Director-General of Vireak Buntham Group, has previously provided financial support for various campaigns initiated by the head of government and has supported numerous other charitable programmes.
The report also noted that construction of the Vireak Buntham Food factory was more than 60% complete. Development was continuing towards a modern production facility capable of producing and supplying a range of seasonings meeting quality and standards requirements and offering reliability.
