Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth urged medical teams across the province to provide prompt healthcare to National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Health Equity Fund (HEF) cardholders, with transparency and accountability. He spoke at the March 26 closing of the conference reviewing provincial health work in 2025 and setting directions for 2026.
He also called on doctors and health workers to increase public information on health, hygiene, the equity fund and developments in healthcare, and strengthen referral hospitals, health centres and health posts by deploying sufficient staff with good professional ethics.
Mang Sineth further urged strong public–private health partnerships to ensure access to high-quality, safe and effective care, and said services must comply with technical competence requirements, standards, quality and professional ethics.
