Preah Sihanouk Deputy Governor Min Kompheak, representing Governor Mang Sineth, attended a half-monthly meeting to review progress in preventing and combating technology-based fraud (Online Scam) via the video-conferencing platform Zoom on the afternoon of 1 July 2026.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Sokha. It reviewed and assessed work completed so far and set further directions and measures to improve the prevention and suppression of all forms of technology-based fraud.
Leaders and other participants discussed challenges and technical solutions to strengthen law-enforcement officers’ ability to monitor, investigate and combat offences effectively and promptly.
On behalf of the provincial administration, Min Kompheak affirmed his commitment to following the Interior Ministry’s guidance and working closely with relevant institutions to maintain security, public order and residents’ safety in Preah Sihanouk, while contributing to national security.
